A Dark Ages SagaPlease join Castel Rouge in a celebration of the mystique and fun of the dark ages as we present themes from a newly written saga. More information on all activities will be available shortly, but they include heavy fighting, fencing, lots of classes, contests, archery and thrown weapons. Cabins and Feast fill up quickly, so get your registration in early! Where: Ukrainian Park Camp, Provincial Road 222 at Ukrainian Park Camp Road (6 miles north of Gimli, 1 mile north of Camp Morton). Site Opens: 3 pm Friday, September 2, 2011 Site is discreetly damp. Dorm type Cabins, washrooms and showers are not wheelchair accessible. This class is designed for people who know at least one stitch and who may have done embroidery before (eg cross stitch patterns) or would like to start and use it in the SCA. This class will teach you how to get started with your project from ideas to the final product. How to Tablet Weave: Instructor: Lady Cristina de Bagenold.
